Raspberries can be grown in any size garden, as long as they have a fertile, well-drained soil and plenty of sunshine. Some varieties can even be grown in containers.

Raspberries can be planted in rows or in large containers, and they require support. Attach to wire runs or grow against a wall /fence.

If you are planting in the Spring & Summer, water well for the entire season until roots get established in the ground. Increase watering to daily if there are extended periods of hot and dry weather.
To check this, dig a finger into the soil a few centimetres. If the soil feels slightly moist, it does not need further watering. If it feels dry, water and repeat the test again.
