Plant topiary plants in good quality melcourt compost. Use a granular plant feed when planting and a liquid feed every 3 weeks in the season. Prune shrubs in the spring and autumn to keep their shape. Furthermore always prune a little and often to get the best results. Water plants 3 times a week in the summer and once a week in the winter. Remember evergreen plants still need some water in the colder months.
